Saturday evening we hold a Raffle, Silent Auction, and a Live Auction. We use the proceeds from these events to provide scholarships for Camp, bring in Special Guests, and to help defray the travel costs of our mentors.
Raffle tickets are sold during social hour before dinner on Saturday night. There is a crazy variety of raffle prizes to choose from. The Star Attraction of the raffle is a Free registration to a future Qajaq TC!
The Silent Auction offers up a huge variety of items. From outdoor gear to books to hand-made crafts to crazy novelty items, there is always something cool to bid on.
Our Live Auction showcases some truly spectacular items. Examples from previous years include hand-made qajaqs and paddles, limited-edition etched glassware, guided tours, and stunning artwork.
We welcome you to contribute items to our raffle and auctions! Items do not have to be kayaking-related. Outdoor gear, books, hand-crafted items — just about anything will find a taker! If you have any questions about what to bring, just email us at info@qajaqtc.org
